The 2017-18 school year marks 65 years since Mercy High School, San Francisco opened her doors, welcoming the pioneer Class of 1956 as freshmen embarking on a bold new venture. Today, Mercy continues to welcome fiercely determined young women through her doors and inspires them to take daring action to improve our world.
During this celebratory 65th year, we invite you to join us in looking back at our rich history and ahead to our promising future at our annual La Merced Gala. This festive event is dedicated to current and future students and supports the Mercy Scholarship Fund, which provides financial assistance to help families afford a Catholic education for their young women at Mercy.
Join us in celebrating the spirit and charism of Mercy by giving back to our students and providing them with an educational experience that forms lifelong values that will guide them throughout their lives.
Mercy High School, San Francisco, educates women to pursue lives of spiritual and intellectual depth, determination, and daring action to improve our world as an inclusive, Catholic, college preparatory community enlivened by the Gospel of Jesus and the charism of the Sisters of Mercy. As the Social Advocacy Based Learning school of the Bay Area, Mercy SF is preparing women to graduate with fierce determination to improve their world. Learn more at www.mercyhs.org.
